My names is Ivan Jesus Martinez Ochoa. Born and raised in the beautiful and sunny city of San Diego. A husband and proud father of three girls. Hi my name is Diea, pronounced Die-ah.
I’ve had an interest in occult topics since I was a child. I came in remembering things that were difficult to process. I first started working as an astrologer and artist in the early 90’s after a series of dreams and more memories resurfaced. I was part of Steven Forrest’s apprenticeship program for many years but focused more on performance and making art. In 2014 I was in a car accident that left me unable to feel my body. Eventually it was discovered C1 was badly out of place and choking off my brainstem. By that time nothing was functioning normally. I felt like a battery that had lost its charge. That was the start of my healing journey and interest in alternative and energy medicines.

DAWN CONNELLY
It was on a trip to Egypt in the late 80’s that Dawn discovered Astrology. Self taught through years of discovering obscure texts in used book stores, libraries and spiritual centers. In 1995 she joined NCGR where she learned from practicing astrologers and began calculating charts by hand. In 1997 Dawn attended a talk in Laguna Beach given by her favorite author Steven Forrest. When he asked if anyone might want to sign up to study in an apprenticeship program, she put her name at the top of the list and spent more than 15 years learning evolutionary astrology with Steven and the AP group. As she devoted herself to serving clients and to the preservation and evolution of these teachings, she was also gifted the diagnosis of 3rd stage Lymphoma. Her healing journey took her on multiple trips to India and the home of her teacher Yogi Bhajan where she became a certified level two kundalini yoga teacher. Renewed and ready to expand the teachings, she discovered sound healing and became a level 3 certified gong master with the Gong Avatar Academy. She assisted in leading overnight gong concerts and assisting with Sonic Geometry events at the Integratron in Joshua tree. She also became part of a global Dolphin and Water tribe assisting on group boat trips and working with indigenous rituals and sound to connect and celebrate the ocean. One of her proudest moments was playing the Neptune gong for Masaru Emoto during a water blessing ceremony in Newport Beach. She has used her unique combination of astrology, Sound Healing and Kundalini yoga to teach on a global forum to children and teachers in public schools, cancer treatment centers and state universities. In 2020 she and her husband moved from the ocean to the high desert near San Diego where they created a Skymap inside of a geodesic dome and began inviting others to experience their astrological chart and unique frequency activated by planetary gongs. Dawn and her husband also teach tantric couple’s workshops and lead full moon hikes, drum circles and sound healings.
CRAIG HAYENGA
Craig Hayenga is now happily retired. He received a PhD in AstroGeoPhysics in 1979 and became a Physics professor. After receiving tenure, he left academia and moved on to work in industry as an engineer and manager. He worked for a number of startups and eventually spent the last 20 years of his career in the defense industry.
He was brought up in a strongly religious family. In later life, he discovered Carl Jung and focused on Synchronicity which Jung developed with physicist Wolfgang Pauli. He became actively involved in Astrology in the last decade through Steven Forrest’s Apprenticeship Program. His whole life has been Between Two Worlds of Science and Spirituality. His talk will deal with how they are converging, primarily in new discoveries in Biology about life and how those discoveries are more in line with Astrology than former scientific views.
